Big skies

Day off today but up early to walk the dogs on the beach as I’m going away. They had a great 50 minute run on the beach, even if we didn’t need to go that far from the steps. Also missed the rain but the skies overhead did seem to show some impending doom. Loaded up the camper with my stuff for the weekend before heading over to collect JD. Next stop was Glasgow to collect JD’s nephew and F before heading to Penrith for the rest of the weekend. Each year JD organised a gaming weekend for around 16 blokes and I had a place this year for the first time. Arrive and bagged a bunk before most of the others arrived. Stayed off the beer so I could go and collect the pizza’s, which was a good idea looking at how much the others were drinking. Had a good night playing a few new games and getting to know the others.
