Autumn Afternoon

After watching some tennis over lunchtime we decided to go out and get some air.  The weather had improved from the morning gloom and there were glimpses of blue sky above.  We needed petrol so we popped into Morrisons to fill up, thank goodness that particular crisis is over, at least up here, until the next time, though I believe panic buying Christmas presents is the latest craze!

So we parked up and walked over to Bancroft Gardens for a coffee at The Barge and Quarterdeck.  We sat there for a while before heading off.  The sun was lowering and the Acer trees were looking particularly nice, so here's a pic I took with the Swan fountain to the fore and the RSC theatre in the background.
