The Mystery of the Croaking Frog

I has been very still and very mild today.  This afternoon a frog was croaking in our garden pond.  I couldn’t see him in amongst all the dead leaves and duckweed.  I had no idea they croaked like this in the autumn.  I thought it was just a Spring thing.
