Late Drama

Yeovil played their nearest rivals, Weymouth, this afternoon in the FA Cup, the first time we’ve played a competitive match against them in front of fans this century. It was quite a feisty atmosphere (Yeovil “fans” who we haven’t seen for a few seasons appeared out of the woodwork) and we played really well in the first half, scoring a very good goal after 12 minutes and creating several good chances. In the 2nd half we seemed to lose our energy and allowed them back into the game but, just as it looked like we were going to hang on to our lead we conceded a soft goal in the last minute of added time, which means a replay on Tuesday night.

This morning saw us at the Park Run, where Chris ran an impressive personal best.
