Operation "big dig" is over

Today we finished the first battle of the war. Operation big dig is over. We have dug out the yard and cemented in the edgings for the flower bed and the drain.
Next weekend (weather permitting) we will be laying the blocks.

For now all is calm. Aching but calm.
