Prickend Pond, Chislehurst, Kent

Our local pond taken from the High Street looking towards the road. Tonight I left work a bit early, managed to get a life home from the station with some friends which was great because its my mum's birthday today and I needed to visit armed with card and present. On the way back from vvisiting I parked up and decided to walk to the pond for this view BUT OMG it was freezing I didn't have a jacket on only a fleece so I shivered my way to take 3 photos and this was the first and the one I preferred. Not sure what the mesh is for - I think to keep children and/or dogs out of the water.
