Halloween is coming

We’d planned to head into Palmanova for a bite of lunch and a game of mini golf and managed to stick to the plan. Lay out in the sun after breakfast before we headed into Palmanova - lovely walk of just over a mile along the beach promenade. The weather stayed dry and sunny despite the forecast for rain.

Mini golf was good fun even though the men were better at putting that us ladies. The course was full of wee Halloween touches. Stopped for a quick cocktail (pina colada, very refreshing) before walking back to get ready for dinner.

Our first choice of venue had stopped serving food so back to Blackbeard’s we went. I swithered about another steak but plumped for lamb kebab instead which was quite tasty. 

Everywhere is very quiet and the shutters are going up on most bars and restaurants. It’s been a very quiet season and most folks are cutting their losses and closing early.

A nightcap in another of my brother’s usual haunts before bed. Off to Palma in the morning to visit the aquarium.
