Ed's Blip

Limehouse Basin

Photo taken on my way to work this morning.

It is still freezing cold even in late March and I haven't experienced any rain here for the almost four weeks I've been down. Just bitterly cold easterly winds.

The highlight of today was a conference call/meeting with people from Zurich and New York. I had never done one before working for Swiss Re. It's a bizarre experience.

I realised today that Conor's birthday coincided with the official announcement that sufficient data had been gathered at the LHC to conclusively confirm the discovery of the Higgs Boson. On top of the fact it was Einstein's birthday suggests he may be destined for theoretical physics.
