Mono 20th Century Invention

My father bought this tea maid for my mother during the 1950s when she had four young children. It has always sat on her bedside table. When she moved into the rest home before passing away she made sure I brought home to my house.
The first automated tea maker was made in 1902 but the electric teesmade was patented in 1933 by George Absolom.
