I've walked past Old Armoury  many times but never spotted this scary chap. Someone had shared a picture on the local Facebook group yesterday so I went by and had a look today. Apparently he is called Garibaldi George and there is also an elf called Jimmy who sits besides the well in the garden. I left that for another day. 

The rest of the day has been spent on catching up on admin linked to different groups I am a member of, practicing my Gaelic and a visit to the local Heritage Centre (where I used to volunteer) for an end of season gathering. It was good to see people in person having mainly been in contact via zoom.
