Coastal walk

We walked west along the beach from Seaview, stopping for a bowl of soup at a café along the way. Such beautiful, undeveloped beaches. At some points the woods go right down to the sea. So pretty.

Later this afternoon we went to my cousin’s house and stayed for dinner. Since my auntie died in the summer, my uncle has moved in there. My cousin’s two girls also popped in with their partners (and one of their boyfriend’s little 3 year old daughter - she and L took a shine to each other). Sadly my cousin’s son couldn’t make it.

It was a really lovely meal and the company, as ever, was very relaxed round there. Sometimes, with family, you just slip straight back where you left off... even if it has been two years since we saw each other.
