South Downs Way, Eastbourne.

This is the start of the famous walking route, at the western end of the promenade. This rather steep incline is also the start of the Beachy Head marathon. It's a bit precipitous. I find it a wheeze and gasp just walking up, never mind running. I'm not planning to enter any time soon!
