Cushions
The day started early with the technician coming to check the living room a/c unit. This is the one that keeps the house cool through the night. Poor G got a bit frozen with her a/c having to take over!
The good news is that it wasn't a big problem, and the a/c has benefitted from a mini-service in the process. That done, we were both able to get on with things while we waited to hear from our friend Diane. Had we not brought the car home last night, she would have driven us to the garage. We decided to have a coffee instead at Al Seef. Neither party have been there in months, so it was good to see it.
Al Seef is extremely picturesque, but it just isn't a place to be in the morning on a weekday. Not even during half term break. A lot of businesses have either closed down or do not open until the evening. We found a Lebanese eatery open and enjoyed sitting in their bar area and chatting over tea and coffee whilst seated in a cool space, enjoying views of the Creek.
Were it not for October, I would have posted a more arty architectural image! Home for the rest of the day. G got her sewing machine out as someone is coming over tomorrow to do some stitching! Pleased to say, it still works! :)))
