Let’s hope it works!

Peri, menopause and post menopause have played havoc with my sleep Siam hoping this will work :-)

In all honesty I bought it as a nice body butter for my feet and legs but the fact that it supposedly has magnesium and lavender etc to aid sleep did draw my attention to it above others. Overriding factor though was that it smells lovely.

Had a lovely first day of hols today. Drove over to Barnsley (50 miles and normally an hour long trip which today took 2 hours!). The good outweighed the bad though. Got to see a friend who has just had major surgery on a bowel blockage that was the size of a cauliflower!! Over the summer and through September he had lost 3 stone in weight (and he wasn’t a big man!) and had been losing at both ends (so to speak) for over two months! The doc finally told him to go to the hospital and things were so bad they operated the next morning! He now has a stoma bag for at least 9 months, possibly forever, but says he still feels blessed to have it sorted and to be able to eat again and keep it down!
I was quite shocked at his weight loss but other than that he looked so well.
So all in all a good day
