Killerton

We've come down to Finlake in Devon with Chris, Kate Joel & Sophie for our annual family holiday in the lodges here.

We stopped on the way down at Killerton the NT property near Cullompton for a visit to the house lunch in the cafe and a walk around the Halloween pumpkin trail (see extra). The blip shows the War Memorial half way round the trail with views of the parkland beyond.

It was pretty rainy so we were glad.we had booked a session in the pool at Finlake this afternoon as we couldn't get in the lodges until 5pm.

We've enjoyed a meal in the restaurant here tonight (Devon mussels in leek, cider and cream sauce in my case) and a gin in the hot tub afterwards.

Wi-fi here is intermittent to say the least so I'll be relying on the phone for taking and uploading blips this week.
