Sunday special

Church has been good today. Elbows is still feeling the effects of yesterday and his ears are still blocked & his head aches.

After this evening’s church, we popped in to see my MIL and found quite a lot of family there too. It just may be that the recent family bereavement has opened up all kinds of opportunities for new and renewed relationships in the wider family.

It’s been a delight to spend time with Elbows’ young cousins who are nearer in age to our oldest by far. They, and their girlfriends, seem to be really keen to meet up soon, and at Christmas ..

It’s actually really heart-warming, whilst our hearts are reeling from Fridays events.
