Rosehips and thorns

Slept reasonably well again……woke just after 8.
Hair & shower, fruit & yogurt, made a list of a few things I needed to get whilst in town.

Took todays blip of “Sammy squirrel” here …..he seems to be enjoying the stems of D&Es rose bush, nit sure if he was eating the thirns or the hips tbh. He keeps persisting, hiding his nuts in the lawn, hub would not be impressed!! 

The forecast was for possible drizzle/light rain…..
well believe me, it was not light!  I drove into town as i needed too many things to walk/carry them back, thankfully!  It absolutely lashed it down from about 10.30 for a good 3 or 4 hours!!! 

Sat in Costa, watching Powerpoint tutorials by way of a refresher lol…..enjoyed my coffee, then headed back as I had a couple of things for the freezer. Need to remember Ive emptied & defrosted the chest freezer in the garage….and both smaller freezers in kitchen & garage are almost full!  Just got the items in lol! 

Lunch was vegetable soup with a couple of melba toasts with parma ham.  Then i took myself off to “”my office” about 12.45 to get set for afternoon of hard graft ;-) 

The afternoon flew by amidst teams chats, calls and email exchanges, together with my induction.  
The good news is I don't have to work a month in lieu and will get paid this month :-) 

A quick tea tonight, SW chicken hotpot, have to say didn't really enjoy it, had carrots and gravy to add to it, didnt improve it :-/ will teach me to be lazy lol!  I finished my cuppa, whilst watching Strictlys It Takes Two,  then realised it was almost 7.30, should have been on my way to Camera Club!  

Made it for 7.55……enjoyed tonights presentation by a colleague, she has given up her well paid job of 12 years, with Manchester City Council to follow her dream of being a commercial photographer….she is doing pretty well after 4 months or so, good for her I say!
