Happy Birthday

It’s unusual for us to be on holiday on my birthday, we usually go away in September for hubby’s birthday. Today didn’t go quite to plan, we drove into Horncastle but most of the shops apart from charity shops were closed. We did find a nice craft shop and of course a coffee shop. Dropped into Woodhall Spa and found a lovely home interior shop, could have spent a fortune but resisted and only bought a new clock. We also found a tiny shoe shop.
The pub we had planned to eat at was short staffed and we couldn’t eat there so we had takeaway fish and chips. A different kind of birthday.
