Race for Life

Four of us (me, two sisters, cousin) did the Race for Life in memory of our wonderful Auntie Penny. She was a special lady who I enjoyed travelling across Canada with about 25 years ago! We reminisced about her, swapped stories, including our favourite memory of taking her to see Robbie Williams in concert, circa 2001.

Stopped at mum and dads on the way home and chatted through the window to them. Dad is largely recovered and was his usual jovial, positive self. Mum looked terrible and could barely lift her head up from the sofa to talk to us. We passed the Sunday Mail through the window to them...that's love, buying a Sunday Mail :/

Got home to a slow roasted beef brisket. Mmmmmm.
