Tourism.

The morning was clear and cooler than expected. A peaceful start to the day staring at the Lugenda River.

The afternoon was absolutely roasting and I was covered in a persistent sheen. I was very moist by late afternoon but there was no time to sit there perspiring as at relatively short notice we were hosting a group from the provincial department of tourism. The five men were very helpful and impressed with the setup of the Conservancy we run here within Niassa Reserve. Potentially we have had a good breakthrough on the licensing and certification of our future tourism operations. An evening well spent.

There is always lots of evidence of wildlife in Niassa, to tempt tourists.
