Dates & Anniversaries

The Dreich weather continues.

We were in St Andrews and enjoyed the fun and games enjoyed by the students and their "Raisins" introduction to life at the University. The streets were crowded with students coated in shaving foam and soaked with the rain.

In the afternoon we enjoyed getting together with Joan and Ian R for scones and coffee.  Their daughter Anne is staying them. I think the last time we met Anne was over 30 years ago.

Today’s Blipfoto shows a "Wemyss" ceramic rabbit specifically made for the J & I’s 50th Wedding anniversary. 

Wemyss pottery is still manufactured in Ceres. Of course Pat was very taken with this rabbit.

And the Dates? Two extra photos have been added to yesterday’s entry which give the key dates in Hugh Sharp’s war service and also identify his medals.
