Definitely Autumnal

Driving out of Wales on a very wet day, the trees are mostly still green, signs of real autumn muted at best. Outside Ruth’s front door in Birmingham and all along the street the carpet of gold and brown tells a different story.

After a much delayed start, allowing me to recharge my batteries, I’m about to set off on the second leg down to meet Jamie in Poole. Hoping for quiet roads tonight and a good sleep before the trip home tomorrow

Edit: Arrived safety in Poole. A rainy journey, a lot of water on the roads … and I thought Wales was wet!!
