Roman day

The things we do for our kids. Up at the crack of dawn to sort out rugby kit for the boy who was off to play in the London Youth Games and plait hair into some sort of Roman style for the daughter's Roman day at school.

Managed to take a long lunch break from work and pop over to Crystal Palace to watch Ol playing. It has been such an honour for him to captain the school team through the various stages and end up representing the borough at the games. They had a great day winning 3 out of their 5 matches and finishing about 13th out of 32 teams. Very proud.

This evening it was Becca's turn to make us proud when she played a piano piece at the school Spring music concert (as well as singing in the choir). She was apparently in tears before they came out as she thought everyone would laugh at her if she went wrong. Luckily one of the teachers managed to calm her down and she did brilliantly. Didn't manage to get any good pics as she was hidden behind a huge piano!
