Autumn yellow

The trees in the churchyard have suddenly turned a gentle yellow and look very attractive in the middle of the village.
We were at the church for a memorial service for our neighbour .who died recently. It was a beautiful service and the church was full. We were joined by J and M. Martin was our neighbour when J was growing up so he warned to be here for the funeral.
Afterwards J and M came home and we had a long chat and Jem sorted out the problems I have had with my emails. Then we had an early meal at the Thai restaurant in the village, it was good to have a long session with our son and d.I.l
