This summer heat dome for over a month had a serious effect on older trees...namely one of our Acacia trees.  It is probably about one hundred years old.  We have 5 of them on our lot...and this one started to rot...so unfortunate.
It is considered a hardwood and if it ever fell over or one of the branches came down...could cause quite a bit of damage.


Extra: Mike and Victoria did a tremendous job...took about 6 hours.
