Conch shell

Another unseasonably chilly day here in southwest Ireland.

Looked around my place for photos to take for today's blip - settled on zooming in to this conch. I collect shells - have done for years - so my place is full of jars of shells, beachglass and various natural treasures, plus loose ones of all kinds! I find them beautiful - their colours and shapes are amazing.

Beachcombing is one of my favourite things to do. I moved to Barbados with my family at an early age - the beaches there held such wonderful treasures and I'd spend hours kneeling on the sand and gathering them. Would love to hear from any other shell collectors out there!
