Digger at Dusk
A wet start to the day but faired up after lunchtime.
Fed cattle then loaded up as many cattle hurdles as I could find into the stock trailer and headed off down the road with Kev. Spent a while setting up gates into the steading then I left him hiding behind a wall out of sight while I eventually managed to persuade the 14 heifers that it was a good idea to come out the gate onto the track for a feed of barley .
Once we’d got them safely shut in I hauled them back home to a shed here.
Hopefully they will be going away soon as they are already sold.
The drainage contractor arrived in with this digger today ready to make a start installing a drainage system in one of the fields the quarry reinstated last year. Hopefully it will be a success.
