Beacon Red

Bought this photo book by local photographer Simon Whalley whilst I was in The Lakes.
I’ve looked at it a few times recently and took the plunge after my recent encounter with an elusive red at Dalemain. I came to the conclusion that I’d never be in a position to photograph them like this, so this was the next best thing.
A thoroughly wet and miserable day which was mainly spent photo editing last weeks photos.
