Nothing happened

In a moment of madness we reserved a car club car - the only convenient one was in Tower Place, which meant a very tricky exit, threading through road works, temporary traffic lights etc etc. Did have the novel experience of driving along the north section of Constitution St, though, over the new tram lines (first time it's been open to traffic for, oh I don't know, years).

But we eventually escaped from the tramworks and made it out to the New Hopetoun garden centre, to pick up some essentials and a few inessentials (as you do). Saw another tree sparrow (see extra - he's on the left). Apart from that it felt a lot like Sept 5th, 1782.
