Not 'Appy!
Year 2 Day 211 of UK COVID-19 Pandemic. First UK Vaccine 315 days ago. UK open. Overseas travel with restrictions.
As the weather wasn't great we headed to Ledbury (Herefordshire) for a walk around this lovely historic market town. Luckily the sun came out and we had an enjoyable couple of hours. This weeks WIDE on Wednesday theme (hosted by Steveng) is 'repeating patterns' and the Tudor timber frame house more than fits the bill !
Afterwards, we visited our local Morrisons, Ross on Wye, where Mrs BB normally has 10% discount only for her to be told she now had to use the NHS app on her phone! I notice so many firms like McDonalds, Gregs, Lidl, etc., doing this. Indeed, we are off to a concert this weekend and we have to access on tickets (barcode) on the Ticketmaster App and also the NHS App for proof of COVID jabs. I've printed them off as I can't be doing messing round with my phone when people are waiting behind. I bet I'm not the only one who's not App'y about this - excuse the pun!
Cardiff City play Fulham tonight and I'm watching it at the sons house. Our manager is still in place (surprisingly) after 6 straight losses and I think we'll be hard pushed to even draw with Fulham! I suppose the club don't want to pay a ridiculous £2million pounds to end his contract!
