Red-breasted Mergansers in Kirkwall

I was actually at the slip about to get on the ferry to Shapinsay when I decided it was just too wet and windy. Just as well as the wind rose to gale force 8 and the ferry company put out a warning of cancellations. So just a short cycle about the Peedie Sea and Muddisdale. Didn't see any thrushes except a single blackbird.
