Saved the day.

Found this Sunflower head on my doorstep this afternoon. I know where it's come from, one of our neighbours had the most spectacular sunflower in his front garden, it had over 30 flowers and was much admired by everyone, and he had many requests for the seeds. He's going to be thrilled if we manage to fill the street with these sunny flowers next year. 

My reaction when I saw it was 'Blip'! It saved the day as I'd got no idea what to photograph. Although I had snapped the flooded car park at the swimming pool this morning. Boy, did it rain last night!
