enough to make your mouth water!
When I was a child sweets were rationed

There is a picture of a day I will never forget when sweets came finally off ration!
I had saved for months and managed to get the through sweets valued at 2shillings and sixpence (12 1/2 new pence)
Before I was very, very sick, and looking round so were all the other kids.
Seeing such plenty still seems amazing after all these years.
