On the Beech

I led a field meeting today to one of my favourite sites. Sadly, only 5 of us turned up, but it was a nice group and we logged well over 50 species - it would have been considerably more, I think, had we not had a thorough soaking and called it a day around lunchtime. A mixture of grassland, heath and a fantastic Beech wood. This is a Porcelain Fungus, which was fruiting in great profusion. More finds in extras.
