May we present...

Weird day - beautiful sunshine, and torrential rain. No wonder we are so weather obsessed.  We got out this morning, but stayed in this afternoon.  At a loss for something to do that would entertain and not involve phonics (because we need to give them a good rest sometimes!), we recreated the boys favourite seasons song.  It involves dressing up for each season to the tune of a Bruno Mars song.  They love it, and they had such fun!

In other news, our recent bought of bad luck has changed and I've passed my accountancy and finance exam (part of my masters).  I worked so hard for it, and finally dare to admit I actually quite enjoyed the subject.  If I hadn't messed up my absorption (which I'd revised the day before, but just couldn't get the numbers to work on the day), I would have done really well - missed 4 marks for that.
