Appley Tower, Ryde

We walked today. Once the overnight torrential rain stopped we set out east along the coast into the village of Seaview and had a lovely lunch.

The we headed west until we reached the tower that overlooks the beach in Ryde. Such great memo from my childhood visiting the shell shop in this magical tower. It’s all closed up now, of course. Wouldn’t it make a really interesting place to live?

This evening I left N and L and went to visit my cousin for a couple of hours. Realised it’s only the second time in L’s life that I’ve missed a bedtime. N reported that she went down without a fuss.
