Sunset

Silverback file:

A nightly ritual in Margaret River is to drive down to the car park of the main surf beach and watch the sunset.

After two days of being trapped indoors by rain, the weather cleared yesterday afternoon and we headed off to join the throng of sunset admirers. A few photos later we hurried home for home-made soup and bread!

One benefit of the rain has been that we finally got to watch the movie ‘Breath’. This is the screen adaption of Tim Winton’s book about growing up in a West Australian surfing town. Produced and directed by Simon Baker, (who grew up in a NSW surfing town). It portrays life in the 1970’s in places like Margaret River.

The weather’s on the mend. Bike riding and wineries coming up!
