Raindrops

Sometimes it’s the little things that please. In the recent dry spell I finally got around to sanding and revarnishing my front bench. So it’s gratifying to see the beads of water perched on it and not soaking in. We had a big power cut today - long story to do with a lamppost. We had a whole fleet of SSE vans parked along the street. So I abandoned plan A when the computer screen went black on me and caught up on shopping and gardening instead.
