Early morning start

My friend Risee and I went on a road trip today to see if there was any leaf color at the only covered bridge in South Carolina.   Not a bit.   Then we tried a couple of other spots I knew of in the area and only saw some scattered reds along a pond and the trail we walked.  

This is my favorite photo of the day.  Right here at home where we stopped at the bridge along the lake to get a photo of the mist rising off the water.  I loved the light here on the picnic table.    

A good day for a catch up on our news and solving the world's problems.   Cool and sunny which we both love!
