Highland coo
Following a nice walk in the sun with Selina and the dogs first thing I headed out for a drive in search of gambolling lambs (my spring photography target). I saw quite a few lambs, many of them very new, some of them frollicking but too far away, and only older ones that I could get close enough to for a picture. I even had trouble with photobombing sheep getting in on the act.
And then on the way home I saw the Highland cattle at Woolbeding. They're often too far away and obscured by hedges but they were easier to get at today, albeit by crouching down at the bottom of the hedge and poking my camera through the fence. They are lovely beasts.
Since then I've been feeling a bit rough and the sore throat I had yesterday has developed into a headache, cough, ear- and general achiness so I'm putting my feet up with the dogs and watching daytime TV in between sleeps (and coughs).
