Wednesdays with Sarah
I’ve begun spending time each week with Sarah (a friend for many years) while her partner teaches an online college class in philosophy. Sarah inspires my spiritual practice. Today she read this aloud from among her collection of books, magazines, articles and journals: ”We are part of the whole which we call the universe, but it is an optical delusion of our mind that we think we are separate. This separateness is like a prison for us. Our job is to widen the circle of our compassion so we feel connected with all people and situations.” Albert Einstein From: I will not die an unlived life: reclaiming purpose and passion by Dawna Markova (see extra) It is a privilege to spend time with Sarah.
