Colors in the dark

After daily tasks and due to very nice and warm (+10 C) weather, I made a combined cycling, hiking and geocache hiding trip on the Mikonsaari nature trail. There is  very beautiful spruce forest, where is always quite dark inside it, so very good place for moody photos. At time being, it was  half an hour to sunset, so there was even darker. This birch leaf was laying on fallen old birch and nicely popped out against mossy spruce forest.

Today we are also celebrating Blipfoto's 17th anniversary and this Mikonsaari nature trail has provided many blips since August 2012, when I started my daily journal in this great service. On that regard, this photo promotes that joy so well.
