Moral support!

When I signed in at school this morning, the receptionist asked me if I had had a Year 11 science class yesterday. Fearing the worst, and expecting her to say that the Head wanted to see me immediately to have me frogmarched off the premises, I said ‘OMG, what’s happened?!?’. She said ‘My daughter was in that class and told me that they had a really lovely supply teacher and I thought it must be you!’. I nearly cried, what a nice thing to say!

After signing in, supply teachers are given a lanyard picked out at random from a box and I did laugh when I saw mine today. I’m back there tomorrow, maybe I’ll be 007?
