Between the Showers

The weather forecast for today was grim - strong winds from the north, with the added bonus of hail showers.  And although both were right, the gaps between the showers was reasonably long and you could see them coming!  Picture taken at Sumburgh Head - looking northward along the coast to Compass Head.

This is picture of the day 6146 of a run that started in December 2004, and I've been sharing images here since July 2010, which entirely coincidentally is about when I started spending a lot of time on Shetland.
