Day 72: Dogwood Colours and Curves

Today has been a better day: Mum visited Dad in hospital and he's being well cared-for... The operation went smoothly, and he'll be closely monitored in hospital until he's past the worst of the danger; I found it reassuring that he was complaining about the noisiness of the ward (above the pain and physical discomfort).
Mum visited me afterwards, and we went for a walk in the garden in the early evening sunshine.
