A fine afternoon.

A cold bright autumn day. We made a route variation on a walk we like; we went in the opposite direction - it’s funny how doing something like that changes the perspective.

The Covid19 new daily case numbers in U.K. passed the 52000 mark today. Calls for higher public protection standards are being resisted by Westminster. Scotland cases now seem to have plateaued at circa 2500. A friend was discharged from hospital today; hopefully he’ll recover well.

Older son phoned for a GP appointment yesterday, seen today and referred to Practice physio next week. He gave me a heads-up on how the Practice is operating in advance of my checkup next month.
