Disc Brake Upgrade

A cycling buddy gave me his used parts when he upgraded his 2005 mountain bike with a new fork, crank set, sprockets, free-wheel, gear set and hydraulic disc brakes.
I really only wanted one of the old mechanical  calipers so I could put a disc brake on the front wheel of my early 90s titanium mountain bike, but he insisted I take the whole kit and caboodle.
I received a new brake rotor in the mail yesterday and today I installed the disc and caliper to replace my old "V-brake" set-up.
I am very well pleased with the success of this transplant.
