Fort Marlborough

Fort Marlborough was one of many military installations built by the French, British and Spanish over a frantic 100 years in Menorca.

The picture shows a gallery off the main corridor of this ‘ castle’ with dry moat with an image of what it was like for officers and men in the depth of this building.

Today was ‘ history day ‘ for us on our holiday.
