Boysenberry Flower

We had another perfect spring day. I did a bit of gardening.
For Flower Friday (thanks BikerBear), this is a boysenberry flower. My late mother-in-law grew abundant boysenberries here on the farm. We have had not any success. 
We put in new vines a couple of years ago after the old ones died but just as they were getting new shoots the birds attacked and nipped them all off. 
So this year we have covered them with netting and I'm really excited to see the flowers. Maybe we will finally get a crop.

The boysenberry is a cross between the raspberry, blackberry, loganberry and dewberry.
