1950s Woman

I was looking forward to getting my state pension after delays of 
a) 5 years, unwelcome news as it was difficult to change career to make up the shortfall
b) Another year, surprised at short notice
c) The application I sent in 4 months ago has not yet been processed, though I'm told that there are no problems with the application. First payment was due by today, according to DWP web site.
